THE MAKERS
Thanks for taking a look at our site. Ziggy Played Guitar has been created by bringing together the imagination, gumption and dedication of many different people who work hard to keep the Ziggy flame alive. Here are just some of the organisations and individuals who have helped make this happen.
THE COMMUNITY BRAIN

The Community Brain believes in liberating people’s brilliance through participation, permission and play with a purpose. Inclusive, informal and participant-led – helping people create engaging stories and events to celebrate their community to build the environment and future they will share. With no formal joining or membership, there’s room for all.
TIM HARRISON

Tim is a local historian and author. His book "Hello Tolworth, I'm Ziggy" charts the rich history of the Toby Jug pub, the Ziggy gig we celebrate on this site, and the impact it all had on popular culture and the careers of many globally adored artists and bands. What we share on this site is just a smattering of what's in Tim's tome, so if any of what you've read today his whetted your appetite, then buy his book! You can purchase it here...
THE BASEMENT DOOR

The Basement Door is a charity set up to help young people aged 12-22 learn new skills, increase employability, build confidence and make connections. They empower young people through training, performing and volunteering at live music events that happen almost every week across South-West London. Whether you’re a performer, organiser or part of the back stage crew there’s a place for you at The Basement Door.
STU JACKSON

A huge Bowie fan, Stu built this site as a permanent record of the amazing work of the others on this page. In his spare time, Stu writes, records and produces his own music. He has released 12 albums on digital music services such as Spotify, Amazon and Apple Music, under the name Son of Jack.
